    It was the year 2010. I was Sweet 16 and never missed a kiss. As I am an introvert, I was too shy to walk up to this tall girl of my dreams, so we started chatting away on Mxit for hours and hours… It has become my new favourite pass time. Breaktime was our most favourite period at school because we got to spend it together…and that’s where it all began. Fast forward to varsity… After being in and out of the relationship like typical school crushes, destiny brought us together again… and so we are stuck together and will now tie the knot to stay together till end of time…

    A typical Saturday night back in 2010…socialising at a mutual friend’s home, and in walks Mr Right with his blue eyes and blond hair. The boy of my dreams. My heart started racing and my knees turned to jelly. I knew…Cupid drew his arrow, and bullseye… he shot me in the heart. Although I am not an introvert, I was too shy to make the first move. The whole weekend I could only think of him. Monday at school I asked his friend for his contact number, and the rest was history…

    Months & Months & Months of saving, planning, searching, and building up courage, it was time… She flooded my phone with photo suggestions of her dream engagement ring. The time was right and the finances looked pretty good, so it was time to break away for much needed R&R.. Destination…. Glamping in Magoebaskloof. A first for the both of us. On a cool, rainy morning with the perfect backdrop, I had enough courage to finally pop the question…

    As new traditions start to fill our lives, the love of my live suggested we go away for his “Birthday-Weekend”. As I am always eager to make new memories, I jumped right in and helped to book a glamping adventure. It was a rainy weekend, and Saturday morning as it was still drizzling and we are adventurous people, we decided to go for a hike to take in the beauty of the nature. We stopped to take the traditional selfie, and as I turned around, he was standing there with the shiniest ring, and popped the question…

    I said…..YES!!!

Our Honeymoon Wish

We've lived together for quite a while with al our pots & pans, and as we don't need homely gifts, we've got another plan! We know it's not traditional and not the way it's done, but rather than a wedding list we'd love a bit of fun in the sun.

So if you'd like to give a gift and send us on our way a monetary donation to our honeymoon would really make our day!!
